Money talks and how

In Malayalam there is a saying "panathinu mukalil parunthum parakkilla". I am in Ernakulam. A few major textile shops (mind you, none of them are Muslim-owned) in EKM have made provision for iftaar and Salat during Ramadhan. The idealist in me would like to think that this is a example of communal harmony, but this also makes good business sense, when you have a Muslim middle class and upper class that will spent a lot of money during Ramadhan.
